The forgotten child

I have decided to dedicate this post to our often forgotten child. Our first born son in the wilderness of Connecticut. He probably spends more hours by himself than any of our other children ever did. In the mornings he wakes up, and we give him a bottle which he can now hold by himself. We put him on the front room floor and he eats alone while all the rest of us are running around like crazy trying to get ready for another day. Throughout the day he is put in baby saucers or on blankets which he thoroughly enjoys, but still spends time alone in them. Then at night he sleeps in his own room while all the rest of us have company all through the night. Also, he probably has had less pictures taken of him in the last 6 months than our other kids.

But all that said we still love him just as much, and he brings such joy into our life.

1. He loves to laugh. Maybe more than our three girls. He laughs when he sees people he likes, when the girls tickle him, when you are changing his clothes, and when he wakes up sometimes. He loves to smile and laugh at just about everything. He is super happy. Just glad to be included in the Moyle craziness.

2. He loves food. Really food...none of that weak sauce baby food. He doesn't really like to eat the oatmeal stuff or the baby food jar stuff. Just put some cooked broccoli or hunks of bananas and strawberries on his tray had he's happy. His first official food was an old banana peel that he grabbed off the table, and his new favorite is popcorn.

Trying to eat Christmas presents

Eating snow...

Eating his sister's toys

Eating the good stuff off his tray

3. He is super chill. We drag him around everywhere, and he just puts up with it. We've taken him to late night basketball games, hiked in super cold weather, and dragged him across the country and back, and through most of it he was great. He just looks around and seems to be trying to take it all in with his very concerned looks.

Its like 10 degrees outside!

So many hugs! Maybe too many!

I fell asleep in my bouncer, just tooooo tired

Thinking "How will I ever survive this family?"

All in all we are happy to have him in the fam!

Enjoy every minute because you don't get them back!
