Just another day at the office...

These last couple of weeks have been quite the blur. Matt came down from Utah to visit, and Paul also came down from LA. Unfortunately, Paul had to leave almost immediately after he showed up. Then it was just Matt and us, and we ran him into the ground. While he was here we went surfing, skim boarding, to am amusement park, to an artificial wave park, frisbee golfing, played board/card games, babysat, and amazingly kept the house clean while all that was going on.

We were excited to have him come, and sad to see him go, but we all needed the rest (especially Matt). Now life is sort of back to normal. Ellie becomes more talkative with each day. Last Sunday she did something that made us all laugh. Whenever we ask her what is in Mommy's belly she says "baby sister." At church she had a book about the birth of Christ, and we asked the same question. She replied, "baby Jesus." We couldn't help but laugh. We are pretty sure that she now understands that mom is not carrying baby Jesus. Anyway don't forget to laugh at the little funny things in life.
